How To Incorporate Google AdSense into Your BloggingHow To Incorporate Google AdSense into Your Blogging

Many bloggers use Google AdSense to earn extra income online. For full-time professional bloggers, AdSense is even a major source of advertising income and revenue. How does this work? When you sign up for AdSense, you're basically signing up to help Google advertise. You place the ads on your website and earn money when they get clicked. The amount you earn is usually a certain percentage of what the client pays Google for the advertisement.

Here is to how start earning money through Google AdSense while blogging.

First, if you do not have a working website, you can sign up at blog hosting sites such as Hubpages, Blogger and WordPress. Blogger is Google's official weblog service. They have certain AdSense layouts that you could use to easily place ads beside your blog. Remember to choose sites wherein you have access to its HTML code, as the code for the ads will be inserted there.

The next step would be to start blogging. Google has certain requirements when it comes to your website. First it should already have been active for at least six months. Next, it must feature original content. Last, the information you provide on your AdSense application must match the information you provided on your domain name. Remember that before you sign up for an AdSense account, your website must fit these criteria so that your application would not be rejected.
Visit google.com/adsense/ and sign up for Google AdSense. You may have to wait a few days before Google approves your registration. Remember to read its terms and policies thoroughly before signing up. If your application gets rejected, this means that your website did not meet the criteria or you may not have complied with Google's policies.

If you do get approved, congratulations, you should now think about how to generate traffic to your blog site. There are many guides on the net on how to do this. Read up on them, but most importantly act immediately. Most people do not succeed with AdSense, because they lack the motivation to actually apply what useful information they may have found on the internet. Every business requires work. AdSense is no different.

The most important step is to place the Google ads on your webpage. If you use Blogger, just follow the instructions on how to incorporate AdSense into your webpage.

However, if you use a different blog host, you need to manually place the code on your HTML file. Here's what you got to do. Log in to your AdSense account. Go to the "AdSense Setup" tab and choose one of the three that appear. Choose the type, format, color and size of your ad. Just follow instructions. Choose a name for that ad and submit it.

You will be given a code to be pasted into your HTML page. To access the HTML file, go to your browser's menu bar. Select "View", and then click on "Page Source". A dialog box would appear showing the HTML code of your website. Just paste the ad code where you want the ad to be positioned and save.

AdSense scans your page for keywords to know which ads to place on your website. Here's a tip. Write about high-paying keywords that you are also interested in. Just do a quick search to find out which are the top paying keywords at present. When people click on these ads, you will earn more.

After going through all that, you will now have incorporated AdSense into your blogging. Remember that it may take a while before your website gains traffic, but when it does, you will literally earn as you sleep.
